Snow Leopard OSX 10.6.3 system Install Disks for Mac Mini (mid 2010).This is especially needed for those buying the new Mini Server (mid 2010) and want to run it as a Media Center under Snow Leopard and not run OSX Server that comes with it.

System Requirements:
This will ONLY install on the Mac Mini (mid 2010) model (built in Power Supply and SD Card Reader). It fails to launch on other machines (tested on on Mac Mini (Intel 2006) )

This is especially needed for those buying the new Mini Server (mid 2010) and want to run it as a Media Center under Snow Leopard and not run OSX Server that comes with it.

If you do install and use an OSX 10.6.3 RETAIL on new Mac Mini (mid 2010)some things will not work...
Ethernet
SD Card Reader
DVD Player
Display Works : text has halo effect and Display Calibration will not launch)

NB: Upgrading to 10.6.4 or 10.6.4 for new mini - does not fix these issues - I have tried!

How to install on New Mini Server:

1) If you can get Remote CD/DVD Sharing to work.
OR
2) Use Disk Utility to Restore DVD image to an empty USB/FW800 Hard Drive (or partition)
Boot mini holding OPTION key select USB Hard Drive "Mac OS X Install DVD"
Install OS X as normal.

This image has been tested and works on my new Mini Server using Install method 2) above.
